Thanks for supporting us and buying our music. This album is meant to be a little taste of Wild Colonial Bhoys live in our full-band glory. We have gone through some amazing changes as a band since the last time we wrote one of these liner notes...We have some new members in the band, we've played to thousands and we've put bajillions of miles (okay, probably not that many but it seems like it) on our van(s). We want to extend a special THANK YOU! to all of you who came out to see us that night back in June, when we recorded this album! We had a great time playing for you, so hopefully you'll listen to this album and it'll evoke some fond memories. All the best, and we'll see you soon!

“The crowd was really amped up before we even took the stage
thanks to the Wild Colonial Bhoys. They kicked ass!”
—George Schwindt, Flogging Molly
“A really talented band that simply knows how to rock.”
—Patrick Murphy, Gaelic Storm
“The Wild Colonial Bhoys have taken on an impossible task and
made it work… original songs that hit it big with me both
lyrically and musically throughout a whole CD. A duo of acoustic
guitars with some of the best original tunes I’ve heard in a
while by a duo turned up to 11 with their rockin’ band backing
them. The best way to describe their sound on this CD is take
the Young Dubliners, The Elders, Carbon Leaf, and Great Big Sea
into a blender… you’d have a Wild Colonial Bhoy smoothie! Pick
this one up… you won’t be disappointed!”
—John Bowles, Paddyrock.com
“The Wild Colonial Bhoys have perfected their craft and seem
to be ready to reap the rewards. These guys should be on stage
at every major Irish music festival in North America as they
easily and happily performed a flawless set for the huge and
appreciative crowd that turned out in their native Minneapolis /
St. Paul. You will most definitely see more of this band as the
cream always eventually rises to the top.”
—Irish American Blogspot
“This is a confident and accomplished album by a couple of
talented singers and players, backed by some of the Upper
Midwest’s best Irish musicians.”
—Rambles.net
“The Wild Colonial Bhoys are keeping the Irish tradition
alive and well.”
—Mike Wallace, The Irish Brigade
“They were our favorite opening band for our last tour and we
can’t wait to play with them again.”
—Keith Roberts, The Young Dubliners
“The most energetic and talented band we’ve ever had in our
pub. The Bhoys can sing, they can play, and they really know how
to get the crowd going and make people happy!”
—Dermot Cowley, Owner, O’Donovan’s
Irish Pub, Minneapolis, MN
